Life Drawings

Going to life drawing co-ops is a great way to build your skills as an artist. I've heard that if you can draw the human form you can draw anything ... not sure if I agree with that, but it's a good time, and it can't hurt.

Sometimes I try to draw "realistically"

 

  

Other times I try to caricature the models (to varying degrees). Sometimes I secretively draw a fellow co-op attendee (muah-ha-ha-ha!)

A rival artist once asked "What's the point in trying to draw something exactly as you see it? INTERPRET!" Hard to argue with, even if caricature isn't your thing.
