Star Wars Animated Poster

I'm visiting San Francisco this week to show my stuff around. One of the organizations I plan to get my work in front of is Lucasfilm. To show my love for their big property, I made this poster, based on the "Clone Wars" cartoon currently on Cartoon Network. But instead of featuring stories between episodes II and III, my version is supposed to fill in the gaps between the original flick and Empire. It gives me a chance to show that I can work with an established style and still do my own thing with it. Fingers crossed ...

More life drawings! (and mall sketches!)

I've got some new drawing directives that I scrawled on the front of my sketchbook (along with a note that instructs me to READ and THINK about the directives before I start drawing). So the drawings below, done over the last three days, were executed with the following directives in mind:

-draw quickly
-draw bold!
-work big to small
-push the shapes

I think I did rather well. Could do better, but still rather well.
